Sydney Harbour! Right in the middle of the image is the Sydney Harbour bridge, affectionately known as the Coathanger. It's the world's largest single-span bridge, but not the longest. (It's around three feet short of that) The strange white structure on the small jut of land (Bennelong Point) is the 65 metre (213 feet) tall Sydney Opera House.
A respectable horizon shot, showing the curvature of the earth. Taken from around 11,000m if memory serves me correctly. That's 36,000ft to those of you still living under the British Imperial system. There's some rough country underneath all those clouds, though it's hard to see it.
This is Budgewoi, north of Sydney on the New South Wales coast. I like the way the bridge looks to be holding the two areas of land together.
